Description: Come join Global in Golden Gate Park for a free music festival! Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is an annual bluegrass festival in Golden Gate Park that is completely free! The festival spans three days and Global will be attending the last day. What is bluegrass? It's a music genre that originated in the Appalachian region of the United States. Think banjos, an upright bass, mandolin, and a strong twang. Why is it hardly strictly? Because the festival includes artists from country, soul, folk, and other genres. How is such an amazing concert free? It was founded and funded in 2001 by Warren Hellman and after his death in 2011 is continued to be funded as a gift from the Hellman Foundation.
